An overview of the closing event on 19th and 20th May

On 19th and 20th May 2025, the closing event of Rural Roadwater Rescue took place. An excursion was organised to the InnovA58 test site at Kloosters in Eindhoven. In Brussels, experts and policymakers gathered to discuss the results of a year’s research. In her keynote address, Doctor of Engineering Marjolein Vanoppen immediately underlined the urgency of the issue: every drop counts.

During the event the project results were clarified and illustrated during four focus sessions, including discussion with participant feedback on how to proceed from the results onward. Below you can find the four focus sessions, each including a downloadable PDF with additional information.
